About Future Sound Studios...

Future Sound Studios is a not for profit organisation aimed at engaging disadvantaged key stage 3 and 4 pupils in scientific, mathematic and IT curriculum concepts by teaching computer based music production skills.

Formed in 2007, Future Sound Studios has developed a short course which is delivered in-school titled ‘The Science of Sound’. Utilising a combination of commercially available music production software and software developed exclusively for Future Sound Studios, the course operates from a set of portable drives (pen drives) and does not require specialist equipment nor installation of  software onto a school’s computer network.

At present the course is fully booked until September 2008. However Future Sound Studios is currently expanding to enable us to accommodate significantly more educational institutions during the academic year 2008-2009.
